Family

It is so much fun to get out of the town you live in and go to another place for a couple days. You always are able to see and do different things and share with family or friends that you haven't see in awhile , we left on Friday morning to go to Roosevelt, UT and be there for the baptism of Logan Johnson, Terry and Sharon's grandson, Justin and Cari son. It takes about 5 1/2 hrs to get there from here so we made it by 2:30. We met everyone at the bowling alley cause that is what Logan wanted to do for his birthday I haven't bowled in can't remember when but it was fun. Cammie Allred and three of her kids along with Terry Sharon, Jack and myself plus Yankton Stephanie and there two kids and then Justin Cari and there girls plus Logan, we played a round didn't do to bad even managed to get one strike and then a spare another time oh yea also had a few gutter balls, had pizza and cake and ice cream after. Was able to see Yanktons new home really nice home. Sat us ladies and girls went shopping in Roosevelt and Vernal of course found somethings that I just couldn't live without. The men took a bull to vet and then to sell barn. Later in evening met at church for the special event. As most of you know the church now has it were there is more than one baptism at a time, which really isn't as personable as years ago. But oh well moving with the flow I guess. Then back to Yanktons for a barbecue. Good day for all. Got up this morning and started for home. Ran into some snow and rain around Heber City and Park City. But got home safe and sound always good to see your house still standing and the animals still in there pens after you have left them for a few days. It is always good to get back to the place you call home. Family and friends that really is what it is all about. I love it
