Easter here and gone

Here we are our first Easter in NV, woke up to fresh snow on the ground not to cold so wasn't to bad. Jack fixed breakfast, he always does a good job, and always fixes breakfast on his days off. I texted each of the kids to say happy Easter, started hearing back from them . Mom called and said that Uncle Clark was going in and out of consciousness so didn't look to good for him, she said that her yard was full of colored eggs, Starr hides the eggs in moms yard for the kids to find, Starr always does such a great job of getting the family together. We started watching GC but didn't get it on in time for the first hr so only got the last hr of it in the morning session really enjoyed it. Since we didn't have any family, grandkids here to celebrate Easter with us or to find eggs in our yard , we decided that we would hide eggs for the dogs. I had bought some rawhide rounds other day in town so we took the boiled eggs and after peeling them we put one in the doughnut shaped rawhide and then took them outside to hide for the dogs to find. Sparky was first out of door come running h--- bent for me I was standing next to the egg took her a minute and then she found it latched onto it and off she went to eat it. Next was Ms Jack and all she really wanted was to be petted and talked to even after I showed her the egg she just sniffed around it and came back to me she is so funny, finally after getting all the attention she needed she picked up the egg and took off with it back to yard. It was fun, watching them. After getting back into house, mom called again new it was good for her to call again, Uncle Clark had died, he was 92, had had a pretty good life did well for himself and his family, his wife Pauline had already passed away, she was my dads sister and Clark was my moms brother. We took the dogs for ride around Spring Creek they always enjoy going in the back of the truck day turned out pretty nice Jack was able to fly his new kite, and also fly his new airplane that he got from the Easter bunny, I think I got at least 2lbs of candy from the Easter bunny. Easter dinner was barbecued turkey tenderloin, potato salad veggie salad, and cream puffs for later. Good day all in all even if we didn't have family with us, Jack said I did a good job of controlling myself today. I really miss my kids. And I really miss Montana
