Spring time in NV

Gosh I thought that spring was here to stay how wrong I was , while living in MT I learned to live with the weather there and how it changed sometimes for the good and sometimes not, when we first moved to MT it was in the month of January and there was snow on the ground, I hated it I hated living in a state so far away from my kids and grandkids I missed them so much, May came and I thought if they are selling plants in the green houses and such then they must be ok to plant in my yard how wrong I was, we planted plants and it snowed on them. Well guess what in the state of NV they sell plants in the stores here in April so me thinking the same I bought and planted but I was a little smarter I planted them in pots and have them in my garage good thing too since it snowed this week and was freezing weather. But it is so beautiful when the snow melts and all you see is green and the trees are getting ready to leaf out. I did learn that lettece does great in the snow I planted some in the big pot out front (pot is to big to move in and out) with strawberries and some flowers they all survived the snow and look good. Im ready for the warm weather to stay and the earth to be green again, won't be long before the winter sets in again.
